African Paparazi in London

My friend always said to me never to go anywhere without your camera as the world is a stage. He smiled and said to me that.
having a zoom lens camera is like havin’ four balls.
Being back to London was a very different experience.

The old London I left behind was full of social centers run by Leftist Radical Anarchists. We spent weeks in social centres creating Art and writing radical software(this was the start of opensource culture)

However, not all social centres were the same. The Wombles (an anarchist Collective) spaces tended to be more welcoming to ethinic minority as compared to other collectives.—This will have to be another posting—
Okay, let’s forget about that time-warp and get back to a newer one.

Poverty and inequalities in London

The face of Capitalism was so Ugly…

The old were left to fend for themselves

This new London was all about Starbuck..n’ wifi culture. The same culture we had resisted (Anti-Globalisation) from Seattle to Genoa seemed to be running London.

Consumerism and a comfy…life was not the problem but inequality was.

The tools of capitalism are not owned by workers…
I tried looking for Anarchists spaces but found all gone…the space had a new tenant.

The Army doing Community work…

After failing to get a social center run by anarchists, I decided to improvise and take to the street and do some guerrilla camera work.

I couldn’t help taking this Pic…I felt this dad was a Ugandan..I could feel it!

Some social space to do a bit of Art…

I could tell that these were my Congolese sisters from Kivu.

London had a new thing called the wag…someone said to me that the wag is something that fucks footballers on a loan.

Bad hair on a London Street..

Don’t date girls with bad hair

Still Writing the Post….
